"Oh Sh**! Moment #1"

Listen for the panic in my voice...after you die of laughter.

Signs of Trouble

I know the sound. I know the look in his eyes. I know the reaction he has when he hears our feet walking towards the signs of mischief.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I know ALL the signs of my dog causing mischief and trouble.

Something very important to understand about Bailey's personality is that the mixture of his breeds produces great intelligence, but also a very stubborn side. If you know Bailey personally, you know he isn't shy about getting into mischief, nor is he any less sly or sneaky than a 5 year old child climbing the counters to get to the peanut butter jar.

NEVER...and I mean, NEVER... underestimate the brain power of a goldendoodle. While I may have the sweetest dog in the world, there are just sometimes when there is no stopping his desire to raid the garbage, drink out of the toilet bowl, steal paper from under my nose, or steal my shoe right in front of me.

God was really looking out for Bailey when he made him. I swear he sat there thinking, "Mischievious....but VERY cute...that's the only thing that will save him".

In fact, its a miracle this picture was even taken. But who can resist that cute face?

Meet Bailey: The 60 pound doodle of love

                                                                        This is Bailey.

One BIG giant ball of fluff. A woman getting off of the elevator almost wet herself today when she    saw him, screaming "Oh my GOD he is so cute and SCARY!" It was at that moment when I scratched my chin and said to myself, seriously? scary? That's the BEST description you could come up with? Who describes a dog that looks like THIS when he wakes up in the morning as SCARY?! You my friend exiting the elevator, clearly do not understand the meaning of scary. insane, yes that describes my dog, but scary...sorry, uh-uh.

Bailey was born on March 17th, 2010, and yes you Irish people out there know that is Saint Patrick's Day...isn't he special? :)

I got him at 6 weeks old.

He has taught me responsibility, love, compassion, understanding, and many more lessons along his short life, which is why I believe I owe it to him and our relationship to blog about his life experiences as I journey my way through my youth, in pursuit of a degree in veterinary medicine.

Here's to you, Bailey...my angel.
